Schizophrenia and Psychosis Awareness Day

Schizophrenia and Psychosis Awareness Day is a national event which brings together all the schizophrenia societies from across Canada. It is a day in which we celebrate the work we do as the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society to help spread awareness about schizophrenia, psychosis, and the possibility of recovery by wearing purple on May 24th. Together we continue to combat the social prejudice that is associated with mental illnesses and work with the public to show our support for those impacted by schizophrenia and psychosis.
