We are pleased to announce an updated resource in the Clearing the Smoke on Cannabis series: Cannabis Use and Driving. Key findings include:
Marijuana is second to alcohol as the substance most frequently found among drivers involved in crashes and those charged with impaired driving.
Among younger drivers in Ontario, driving after using marijuana now exceeds the rate of driving after drinking. This may be attributable to the fact that many younger drivers do not believe that that their ability to drive a vehicle can be impaired by marijuana use.
